In honor of the Illinois Bicentennial Year of celebrations, we will be developing a twenty-foot long timeline of spiritual and religious events in Springfield. It will then be presented to staff of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
We encourage you to bring a separate sticky note for up to five significant religious/spiritual events in the history of Springfield. In addition to naming and dating each event, note such things as:
Feel free to bring a copy of your congregation's/institutions's history if you have one. It will also be shared with representatives of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Musuem along with the timeline.
